Let's settle this shit once and for all

Let's settle this shit once and for all
You don't have a cake - 0

You cut this virtually non existent cake into two pieces - 0/2

What are you left with? NOTHING

Math lords call this - 0/2=0

Ok, so that's in the clear. Moving on :

You have a cake - 1

You do NOT cut this cake into pieces - 1/0

What are you left with after NOT cutting the cake? The goddamn cake, right?

Then why the hell do
Math lords call this - 0/1= Undefined

So what they're saying is you go to a supermarket, right? And you buy a cake and you decide you don't want to cut up the cake, right? You DON'T cut up the cake. Well guess what? You're screwed cos POOF! You open your bag and your cake is gone. All you're left with is a note that reads "error LOL"

Jesus Christ on a cracker. Just open the old thread on the topic where I explain why your reasoning is wrong.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Methinks your TRANSLATION between cutting or not cutting a cake into math is off.

Anything divided by itself = 1 of itself.

So 7/7=1
365=365=1
0/0=1

BUT

There are also no 0s in 0 because 0 is a number with zero value.

So that's why it's undefined I think.

Or am I missing something? I'm a maths n00b but I do understand theories behind stuff I'm just not great with numbers. i.e. 0.9999999999=1 was extremely easy for me to grasp. So was the Monty Hall problem and some other probability theory stuff. It just when it comes to actually doing sums or reading equations I can't do that shit. I've always been better at theory than practice. Unless I'm doing something with my fingers. (I meant typing, don't be dirty... but yes that also).

I've never encountered this problem before.

Somewhere on the net there is a server saying "Get this nonsense off of me!"

I still think Losty should be making cakes for everybody.

How else would you translate 'cake/0' into english
Dividing a cake into no parts means leaving the cake as it is, don't it?

No. Dividing the cake into 1 part means leaving the cake as it is - because it's already 1 part.
How else would you translate 'cake/1' into english?

Dividing the cake into no parts is impossible.
