What are you doing for Halloween?

RE: What are you doing for Halloween?
I don’t do anything for Halloween. It’s never really been a thing for me.

EDIT: In fact... worse than normal day. What I'm doing on Halloween is feeling extremely irritated by assholes repeatedly knocking on my door when I don't even know them "Because tradition."

If they weren't mostly kids I'd respond to "Trick or treat?" with "Fuck the fuck off or just stop fucking knocking in the first place?".

Maybe I'll buy myself some sour candy and share it with nobody.

Sour candy is my favorite and more tends to be available on Halloween. So I guess that's one good part.

And it's 100% fine for me to ignore everyone because I have no friends outside the internet and I don't talk to strangers.
Doesn't your area have some kind of thing you put out to signify you do not wish for trick or treaters to come along?

My village has a little printed signs that you can get from the village hall for free, to put wherever. And as a general rule of thumb, if the house doesn't have a pumpkin outside, don't go there, as they don't likely want people to ask Big Grin

No it doesn't or if it does I am not aware.

Pointless anyway. In my experience people ignore all those signs 99% of the time anyway.

Where I live it's an unwritten rule that you don't go to houses that don't have their porch light on unless the people are actually sitting outside with candy.

Wow I love that rule. My lights are never on and I bet even if I put a sign up I'd get the same amount of pricks knocking over and over on my freaking door. Half of them being like 16 year old boys wanting money for beer and cigarettes and the other half being kids asking for candy completely unsupervised by their parents.

(Yeah lol the area is really trashy where I live, lol).

I think it'll be rather entertaining

What if it's people sitting in a van with candy and the headlights on?

A lot of people do that too, they call it trunk or treat. Not even joking

I like the scantily clad ladies that can be found in abundance on Halloween. And candy, even though I can’t really eat it. That’s about it.
