PS, Judas - don't whore my hug thread. It's for joy, not for mockery. (August 9, 2011 at 11:16 am)Jaysyn Wrote: New & improved RANT! Now 100% refutation free!!!Wow, and I thought I was the optimist! And Summer, I wasn't whoring your hug thread. It's unfortunate you take it that way. I was sincere. If ever I met someone on a forum, much less in person, who needs a hug and all that provides in support, compassion, etc... for the huggie, it's this forums "resident Ent". Maybe then he'd be a nicer person. And of course that's my personal take on his personality. As I'm sure he has a few choice words in retort concerning mine. I reiterate, I never intended to insult your hug thread and I most certainly would never mock it. I participated in it. When you go through your day expressing kindness and courtesy to all you meet, you leave behind a feeling of warmth and good cheer, and you help alleviate the burdens everyone is struggling with."

I think you got off on the wrong foot. Syna is a wonderful friend and a very sweet individual and I will defend that to the end. But then again, who am I to judge? I think the same about Rhythm and Ryft, and last night Rhythm said he couldn't argue himself out of a paper bag if someone called him an asshole and everyone tells me Ryft is crazy. But I still stand by it.
The ad hominems are annoying. But Syna can still have a hug from me whenever he wants. (August 9, 2011 at 12:31 pm)thesummerqueen Wrote: ...The ad hominems are annoying. (Syna can still have a hug from me too and others who care to reach out, in that hug thread, whenever he wants.) Never take the Internet personally.
Except when you personally call someone out to say that their contradicting argument is due to them needing a hug?
Not in the least. I was telling him that his entire personality as displayed on the forum toward myself to that moment, lent the impression to me personally that he needed a hug.
Which is why, if you re-read it, I said if ever in my life I encountered someone who needed a hug it was him. Not because of his differing opinion, but because of his attitude. I can already see where this is going and I regret even getting into the conversation about it so I'm going to lean back out of it with my drink and let you do your merry little thing.
Wait, drink? Wtf, get on google. Only alcoholics and emotional women drink alone.
