I get it LadyForCamus, you dream about me at night, and only way of dealing with it is to take frustration out on me in the day in the form of this supposed hate you have.

Just try not to make it too obvious.  Heart

Isn't it just, Then that common spirit would answer why they kill each other and go to war so wilfully.

In all the wars known in recorded history extremely few were fought for over religious differences.

Regardless they were people united in a religion killing each other, the reason does not matter.
Unless of course they are also united in obeying the government, rather than their god.

Yeah.... but not if you only look at the religious wars, and then stretch any affiliation by either party to make it into a religious war, while ignoring non-religious factors.

Why does that even matter, lets say none of them were religious ?  They are people whom supposedly were told to love each other by god killing each other at the command of men.

I really hate it when theists claim atheists want government to be their God in place of a God. No, one obey's the law, not because you want to be dictated to, or blindly worship government, one obey's the law because chaos does not benefit anyone. Cooperation leads to power structures ALWAYS. Some become dictatorships, some end up being more open and protective of pluralism.

I don't obey speed limits because I love dictatorships. I obey speed limits because they are a safety issue. I don't value Trump so it is false to claim I obey the Government. I value our system of checks on power, including the prospect of keeping Trump in check and on a leash.

No, I don't worship my government. If you want worship of government try North Korea, Saudi Arabia or Iran.

There are no winners in blind worship, of a God or a politician or a political party.

I think that it matters quite a bit, if someone is trying to make it sound like religion is a primary cause for wars.

Yours seems to be a different question, of which I think that the specification of religious  may be a bit vague.

Brian I believe in two things:

1. Democratic anarchy in times when a Guiding King from God is not manifest.
2. Recognizing the government of God during the time a guiding king is manifest.

If I would return to be a Deist I would be a democratic anarchist. I would never acknowledge falsely in power that doesn't exist but is made up by people who manipulate others.

You are right Iran worships their government and it keeps them from truth.
