I love it when you guys attempt to insult my intelligence, not realizing you're insulting your fellow atheists by proxy. Just recently the OP was claiming that there are no distinctions between chimps, humans, raccoons, horses, pigs, and rabbits, oh and also that there is no such thing as an egg-laying mammal... So I'll accept being a moron, I just want to know what you call people that have to be constantly corrected by this moron? When did I claim there were no distinctions between mammals? You forgot already?

Context, dude. It was pretty clear he didn't mean it the way you wish he meant it.

A distinction is a difference or contrast between similar things. Some mammals have canine teeth, some flat grinding molars for eating coarse vegetation. All mammals have hair, feed their young by milk. They have distinctions. They are similar to one another. Biology is that cool!

Really? Please explain how "not distinct" doesn't mean not distinct.

Now there's a thing, why aren't there twenty commandments?
Jesus whittled the List down to 6.
None of the followers (to this very day) noticed, but it's in the Bible.
I suppose if he had increased it to 20 it would have went just as unnoticed as the prohibition on remarriage after divorce. Sorry Jesus. you were wasting your breath on that one, weren't you. Of all people, didn't you know that one wasn't going to work out because your followers (funny word to use for that if you think about it) think know better ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Read my post above! Distinct and distinction are not the same word!

You're contradicting yourself dude.

Similar does not mean identical, "not distinct" however does make that implication, so which is it?

"not distinct" does mean "not distinct". But the question is whether he was using the same sense of "distinct" as you wish he was using. He was clearly saying that they aren't as distinct as you make them out to be, and that they are very similar to each other in many ways. I mean, the context is there and clear to understand, regardless of whether you take issue with his word usage or not. And you know what he meant. You just want to find some fault in other people's posts just to have a go at them for not agreeing with you.
