Finally arrived at my sister's house in Seattle, three hours later than planned. So much shit happened to delay us it's almost funny. Almost.

Just finished a review of 24 Hour Party People for Anglotopia (a process that took close to two hours to complete)
Then talked with Dad about the reviews for the Fahrenheit 451 remake. When talking about Jordan's Montag, I told him about The Lives of Others, and how Ulrich Muhe would have been perfect. We both agreed there needed to be a timeline change somewhere, preferably sometime where we could cure his stomach cancer. Also, I found out someone hacked into my credit card account to buy $273.25 worth of photos... in New York. And I'm in Chicago and saw no need to pay for photos at that time.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.
More yard cleanup today, and a quick mowing of the grass on the boulevard. My hands are exhausted from pulling nails, and there is sawdust in my hair from using the chop saw to trim the usable 2x4's and cut up the not-so-usable ones.
My plans for the rest of the evening involve a hot bath and a snoot of cognac, not necessarily in that order.
Just got home. On the way a stupid stupid turkey thought it had the right of way. To late to break or swerve, they are fast little fuckers. Quick stop at the car wash to remove the evidence, part of the plastic bumper got cracked.
Made me think of this:
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Resting my aching feet and legs. Fuck walking in downtown Seattle with a rusty rake.
Also, Slack is dead y'all motherlovers need to get on Slack. |
