This is pure US prudish behaviour. Its weird. You can  have women on the beach with only a small triangle of cloth just enough to cover the nipple, but a woman that is nursing a baby, in most cases with bras with a little window for baby access to hom nom nom, gets people upset. Weird as fuck.
