You'll notice that Gorsuch was never accused of Sexual Assualt either. Kinda cuts a hole in that theory that it's just a political stunt.

Of course, Republicans don't really care if this woman was sexually assaulted or not. They'd probably secretly give Kavanaugh a high five if they knew he did it. Because they're a bunch of neanderthals.

I find the number of "Christian" men in this thread defending an accused (by at least 3 people at this point) sexual assaulter to be highly depressing, but utterly unsurprising. I don't know why I keep looking back in here, to see people who would apparently tell their own wife of daughter, hey hon, that was 35 years ago. Are you sure it happened? Why didn't you come forward before? And even if it did, you were just kids! He's been a great guy since then. Let it go. This seems to be an example of what I find disturbing about all this.  That it can't be talked about, and can't be questioned, without the accusations you made here.  That everyone is just to assume that judge Kavenaugh is guilty and if they don't, they must be attacked also.  I'm not saying any of what you asserted here.   

And your emotional plea about a wife or daughter, could also be made about a son or husband.   Would you wish for their life to be ruined, because of an accusation with little more than one persons word, and no other corroborating evidence.   Everyone else who could attest to this, as denied knowledge of the party all together, or denied the claim outright.  Those around him, say that the judge has always treated women with dignity and respect.  And the second claim is quite spotty, with even the woman claiming it, not being certain if it was Kavenaugh.  And this from a  group which largely says that testimony is not even evidence.

The judge is a known liar. Maybe he shouldn't have lied so much..it would make it easier to believe him in this? That, in and of itself..should disqualify him for the position. AKA "ruin his life". No what is disturbing is that there are people who want to not investigate the allegations because he is "their guy" if they are investigated and found to be false then that would exonerate him BUT the rush to potentially let a man become the life time arbiter of your countries laws while under investigation is alarming.

At this point the only reason to rush this through is because you fear not getting as conservative a person in that position, you fear losses in the near elections that would prevent it. You would rather have a rapist than a democrat as a top judge and that is all we need to know about you.
