Christianity is a religion of love in the same way that islam is a religion of peace, which is to say, only to the person who makes the claim. Your religion, for example, doesn't have any love for you, personally.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I've never understood...if atheism isnt a religion, and you dont believe in any kind of God, why do you care what anyone else believes? I mean, how is a religion of love, which is what true Christianity is, dangerous to you?

I'd like to hear what you all have to say on this subject?

Because this is an ATHEIST forum where ATHEISTS can join together and ATHEISTS can talk and ATHEISTS interract. If you are not an ATHEIST then don't expect your views to be treated with any respect unless you prove you are worthy of respect.

You made the choice to come on these forums, if you don't like it you see that little red x in the top corner? Click it, and don't come on here again...

It's the Christian inability to recognize that their beliefs are just beliefs, and the Christian need to force everyone to live how they see fit. If you guys just let people believe what they want and stopped forcing your will upon others I don't think anyone would care.

@Napoléon...I think you should take that up with the webmaster. This site has a thread for Christianity. Is that only for atheists to denounce Christianity? Also, if you dont like what I am saying then just ignore it or press that little red x yourself. Calm yourself down dude, this isnt good for your blood pressure.

I don't have to, you devoted considerable time in your own thread to just that effect.

I'll give you something constructive when you provide something constructive. You've made your claims, and it's perfectly fine if you believe them, but don't expect us to respect you in some way for saying what we all consider bullshit. Unless you are going to diffinitively prove the existence of your deity and prove what you are claiming as true, you are in the wrong place.

Faith, what I see here is the atheist inability to recognize that their beliefs are just beliefs and their need to force them on others is counterproductive. If you guys would just let Christians believe what they wanted and stopped trying to force your beliefs on them I dont think the Christians would care.

And I explained to you that they believe the same now as they did in Abraham's time. Pay attention please.

It's hard to believe that even you are that fucking stupid...although close association with bible-thumpers does indicate that you know next to nothing about what you are talking about.

Let's see, boy.... when your fucking jesus allegedly broke up the temple it was because of the money-changers in the courtyard who were changing foreign coins for the required half-shekel coin for the temple sacrifice.

Temple sacrifice was what these so-called "jews" were all about. After the Romans wised up and burned the fucking place to the ground in 70AD the Jews got together and re-invented themselves in "rabbinic judaism" which was merely another way for the priests to maintain control even though they didn't have a temple from which to rip off the citizenry any longer.

So...it looks like they did change after all?

And since we have no evidence whatsoever that there was anything resembling judaism in the region...aside from your fucking bible which was written centuries later... prior to the Babylonians rolling through and doing their own sort of urban renewal on the place we find that judaism dates to after the so-called "exile."

Now, by all means, feel free to jump up and down like a spoiled brat and pull the Madeline Kahn routine about your fucking bible.
