Should be easy to provide simple pics of a supernatural stick, if one had one.
After all i am not demanding pics, just think it would be awesome if someone had a few pics.
Well, maybe after page 80......or 1100.  Ill wait here, just out of curiosity, not because i demand anything of course. Popcorn

I never said I had one.  I don't even know what qualifies as a "supernatural stick."
Sure, got it, you dont have any. No problem. Great

Sounds to me like you just want to run around in circles, but I can't say for sure why you are doing it.  Seems to be a trend around here.

So, since you comepltely missed the more salient points of my previous posts.

1) I was at work.

2) I was at work.

3) I was other wise productivly occupied in my place of employment.

Others have also replied and added to my initial comment to Angelina so you can also peruse their information.

What exaclty is it you wish clarified M4X?

The archeological and anthropoligical dates? Look them up. I had some brief time for a Googe search to get the rough guestimates I innitially posted.

An actual archeological or anthropological page will give you better and more concise numbers than my untrained in the field self.

As for more rescent history?

The date is 2018 where you are M4X? You know how we got to said numbering sytem, right?

As for Danelaw?

It's even older than my memory served me. Being instigated in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle for the year 876.

So... a non Christian institution that still has some infulence in law books to this day.

As for myself being 'Objective' towards yourself M4X?

Please, offer me a reason or suggestion as to  why I should be so forth coming towards yourself?

Not at work.

You seem to be missing the point.  No reason to imply dates/time periods when we had no way to record said events during those specific times.  Nowadays we have calendar systems for attributing dates to events.

  Huh
 Wha.... ?
"...When we had no way to record said events... "
"... Nowadays we have calendar systems for..."

We now have calenders.... So now we have history... Which we only have from when we have calendaers... ?

I do not understand. Please, expand upon these thoughts M4X.

Not at work.

I have noticed a trend in theists.
The argument seems to be that anything existing at all is evidence for god.

It is a stupid argument and a sign of desperation.

What is more likely some natural phenomenon created the universe or a supernatural being? The natural process wins hands down. We can witness natural processes everyday but no supernatural process has ever been proven to exist.

And there is never an explanation of why the supernatural is a better answer, they just assert that it is.

They never say how the supernatural being did the creating, where it was where it got the stuff, it just did coz its awesome (apparently).

It is a non-answer, a childs answer to complex issues and seems to need no proof to support it in the simplistic eyes of believers.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Of course that's what you thought.  I could've told you that's what you thought before you even said so, but had no reason to.  Still, it's irrelevant in the context of this discussion.  Just another atheist dodging the question.  That's nothing new.

Oh, God. As if you don't constantly dodge questions! You're such a hypocrite, Max.

God has become clear to me through my experiences being born again and filled with the holy spirit.

Good morning and Welcome. Could I interest you in an introduction thread?

I've read all of your posts, and frankly I've heard all of this before. You provide nothing except a position that states there must be a god because you don't have all of the answers that you would like. That's called "god of the gaps". If that works for you great, go and live you life. But "don't know, therefore god" stopped working for me at the age of 13.

If you can't bring something of more substance here you're wasting your time (unless you just like hearing yourself preach). Your "god" is nothing more than a mental construct, a conception, an abstraction to make you feel better.

So far you've provided argument but no evidence. You can't argue a god into existence.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

I stand by my comments regarding your posting history, to which I am sure others will attest.

As for time consraintscin posting? This is why I add my current status as a heading or footnote.

As for dictionaries? As has been explained to you before they are only descriptive of the language in common parlance. Hence the yearly revisions, additions and reletions.

While, yet again, we see your behaviour on display with yet again the selective obfuscational reply given to myself.

Ahhh, okay.  Again, I don't care about the opinion of you and your clan.  If it has some special meaning to you, then congrats.

Got it.  Now the atheists don't believe in dictionaries.  *rolls eyes*

As I said, it was an offer.  If you have nothing, then expect nothing.  In light of that, can you stop with the pandering?

You keep making this claim in response to criticisms that you don't like, and since I was unsure of the definition, I looked it up just to see what it was you were complaining about. Apparently you feel that criticisms of you are appealing to other people's inappropriate desires, if I understand you correctly. I know you have me on ignore, but perhaps another can determine how you're using this word. People have a legitimate interest in knowing whether a person is being dishonest, disingenuous, or arguing in bad faith. So it would seem that your description of the criticisms of others for your behavior is not pandering, and that this is yet another excuse that you use to avoid answering legitimate questions. If you won't answer my questions, despite your dishonest claim that you make a good faith effort to answer anybody's questions, then perhaps you will answer this question if posed to you by someone else.

Oxford English Dictionary Wrote:pandering, v.

2. intransitive. To act as a pander; to minister to the immoral urges or distasteful desires of another, or to gratify a person with such desires. Also in weakened use: to indulge the tastes, whims, or weaknesses of another. Now usually with to.

You might prefer to discuss such questions in the following thread, as that discussion is a more tightly focused discussion. I will remark in general, though, that the usual response is that the arguments based upon observations of the fine tuning of the universe or the complexity of life do not succeed as they all possess logical flaws which render the conclusion of the existence of God an unreliable one. The cosmological argument, first cause argument, and ontological arguments are all likewise, and I can probably point you to relevant threads on those, though I don't know that there are any current discussions here. There is a discussion over at a sister forum, however, if you are interested, namely: AtheistDiscussion.Org || Kalam Cosmological Argument 1.0.

But you can find more at the thread below if you are interested.

Angelina - natural forces exist because that is the nature of the world we live in.

When my son was very young he would ask why so very often. He wanted to fly. "Dad, why can't I fly ?"

I tried to explain that his body wasn't built to fly.
Again he would ask "Why isn't it built to fly ?"

I would tell him "There is no why."
This is simply the body you have.
It's nature has some very wonderful attributes.
You can think. You can walk & run.

Your body comes from a very long line of mothers and father's who did not look like you.

Again he would ask "Why"

He wanted to know everything that a PhD knew in every field of science. Even more actually.

I can only explain things so far.

If you want real answers to your questions, then go find them. Go study cosmology for 20 years.
Go study biology for 20 years.

I can't answer all of your why's

What I can tell you is that inventing a god is not the answer.

I was willing to grant legitimacy based on Angelina's first post, but not from the following posts. They are too stereotypically Christian, not particularly engaging, and rather pollyanna. I know such people exist, but I'm calling Poe on this one. I think some smartass got a new computer for Christmas and is just trolling us.

No. Why would it be evidence of a God? Remember that God is supposed to be a supernatural being that is able to create universes, dictate morality, etc.

How is the existence of physical things evidence of a supernatural?
