What debate is there?

The debate over mastery. Youth versus age, energy over skill. The master debate.

Er... some of you older guys have more energy than ME. So I don't think there's a debate.

Is it a matter of manual skills that the younger guys lack?

Older men in my experience have better taste in food and drink and venue, better conversation, better skills and finesse in bed and are more open about what they like and don't like and how they want it done. And they usually have a sense and appreciation of the subtle.

Just coming from a girl who hears a LOT of unwanted information from her guy friends of all ages, and did a bit of experimenting with the age spectrum. It's just what I prefer.
