'Ilk' means type, sort, kind...things like that.  Nothing to do with being human or not.

Can religion be forced out of existence? NO! Are most human beings good? Yes! But I am sick of my fellow humans thinking there is a magic pill, magic book, magic club, magic words, that can act as a cure all for our entire species.

All 7 billion of us are the same species, and that is the way I approach all of my arguments.

If Boru and I piss each other off, that is not a real death sentence, say like in reality, A Christian or Muslim or Jew murdering the other leaving a family member behind. We've all seen religious and political tribalism in the news.
