It's quite a challenge to work from home when the Internet decides to crap out at 8:30 in the morning...it's still out btw and it's 10:30 at night now.

Not able to work, not able to watch TV. I sewed most of the day and played silly games on my laptop while listening to Pandora on my phone.

Tech is supposed to be here tomorrow afternoon but since this appears to be a pretty large outage in the area, I doubt his visit will be of much help.

How did the Internet go down hours AFTER the storm ended? Was there a little left leaking out of the FIOS line? Cripes.

It turns out that there may have been a very good reason Queen Elizabeth I died as the Virgin Queen... and it's kinda disturbing.

If Seymour had sexually abused her, Elizabeth would not have died a virgin (the article distinguishes between ‘sexual harassment’ and ‘sexual abuse’).

My own view is that Elizabeth didn’t die as a virgin, her protestation to the contrary not withstanding.
