Take all my posts in context, instead of cherry picking. I asked for BOTH the Character  BJ and the SONG that the city name had in common without implying that there was any connection between the band or show.

TRUTH, Diesel had a "One hit wonder" called "Sausalito Summernight", TRUTH, The character of MASH called "BJ" did his residency in Sausalito as the script goes.

Nobody answered "Sausalito Summernight" until I made it obvious.

Took a look at some lists of one-hit wonders and was again reminded that the 90s are quite possible the least creative, most derivative, and least memorable years for music in general, but especially popular music.
