God loaned our children to us and I declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper! I cancel every assignment of the enemy! I plead the Blood of Jesus over them. They shall live and not die and declare the Work of the Lord in the land of the living! They will be successful and will prosper! In the Mighty Name of Jesus!!!

The post is meant to get likes, not make sense. It sounds good to a real believer. Who doesn't like kids? Therefore who doesn't like the idea that God protects kids? Believers pray, so who doesn't like the idea of praying for kids?

I still have some people who do the "in Jesus name we pray" stuff on Facebook and I suppose I am supposed to respond with Amen. I just scroll on by with an eyeroll. These aren't people whose minds I am going to change.

Meh, I am old enough to remember when Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson sat side by side after hurricane Katrina and blamed gays and liberals and pro choice advocates for the hurricane. Which is ironic because the hurricane didn't give a fuck about politics and killed anyone unlucky enough.
