Hell - Where is the idea of justice?
RE: Hell - Where is the idea of justice?
Dudes! Can ya'll imagine an eternity in the same place as GC?

Hell sounds rather inviting when you put it in perspective!

That's the thing, hell isn't an idea of justice, it is an idea of hook, line, and capture. Hell is a key component to scaring people into a scam. It was never a justice thing in my opinion.

However God could have shown Hitler how wrong he was, and in his last minutes he could have accepted God's salvation, in my opinion God would be doing this to show that He is just, no matter the situation or person.

I am not using Hitler to make a joke, I'm using him to make a point.

So you admit that despite all of the death, pain, misery and suffering that he caused to untold millions he could have still gotten into heaven.

Just by asking for forgiveness and accepting jeebus.

Yet I, who have tried to live a good life the best I can so that the world is hopefully a little bit better than it would have otherwise been, am condemned to an eternity of torment for the apparently unforgivable sin of using my rational skepticism.

So your god(with a very small g ) does not care about good or evil, does not care about suffering or injustice, does not care about the pain and humiliation of the weak and the innocent.

All he cares about is our grovelling submission and our servile praising of his self described wonderfullness.

Frankly my boy, even if your god was real I would turn from him with all the disgust and revulsion that I would have for any other petty, self aggrandizing tinpot dictator.

And if you think that this sort of behaviour from your god is "just" then you need to get a new "moral compass"

Don't forget, and I've made this point already in this thread and don't think it can be overstated: Our lack of belief is BEYOND OUR CONTROL. You cannot choose what you believe. So our eternal damnation is the result of something we have no control over and, if we ascribe to the viewpoint of GC and others, presumably put in place by God.

How do you respond, GC?

I pity anyone who believes they have no control over their beliefs. Why even live.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You don't actively choose what to believe... You can't help it if something doesn't make sense to you or if something does.

You, sir, are a joke.

Preaching. Unbelievable that we can send new guys with 25 posts into the gauntlet for preaching, and guys like this little cunt have hundreds of the things and still get to sit at the big boys table.

It's not preaching, I answered a question and at the end qualified it as my opinion. Maybe I'm at the big boy's table because those with authority on this forum know the difference between preaching and opinion, unlike an unreasonable cry baby like yourself.

I do, now you are another one I have pity for.

Firstly, you didn't answer any questions (as always). You were asked to provide proof by IATIA. You did no such thing, so don't claim you answered a question. You were preaching. I know lying is your favourite pastime, but drop it for a second.

Great, well I already posed this challenge earlier in the thread to salty, but she hasn't been on to respond since then.

Since you have such control over your beliefs, I want you to choose to believe in no God. You only have to do it for 24 hours, then you can use the same control to bring yourself back to being a Christian. Go right ahead. Choose to believe that there is no God. In fact, just for an hour, how's that?

FUCK!!!

I tell you right now....an eternity with GC rambling on would have be doing all I could to commit suicide.

Sadly, Iwill not be able to do so. I've only known him for about a year and I already beat my head into the table reading his responses.

Could you imagine 1,456,567,853,789,678 years and infinity to go with his rambling?
