Are we sure he's even capable of the sort of reasoning sufficient to reach the same conclusion you did? The more I read Biker's posts, the more convinced I become that Biker's understanding of politics (especially ideas that go beyond his particularly batshit brand of libertarianism) is devoid of substance. He seems to understand just enough to justify his attempts at zingers, but beyond that, very little.

It is. It’s a way to free up law enforcement time and resources to enable them to run more and more thorough background checks, which would reduce the number of guns getting into the wrong hands. I would think that you, as a clearly responsible, law-abiding gun owner, would be all over that idea.

Didn't you mention before that these "monsters" would and often do pass background checks? Aren't they, then..at least from the point of view of Uncle Sam sniffing around.... The Good Ones™? No reason to keep watching them. I've noticed that a bunch of these good ones do believe they're the good ones and that's why they need their guns. To save us all, through some act of domestic terrorism, from the gays and gangbangers and gungrabbers and gut fuckers.
Or, you know, maybe just save themselves, like you..I guess....but it does seem like the ones shooting up venues have grander ambitions than you do.
