I listen to a fake fireplace ''soundscape'' on one of my phone apps. It's actually very realistic for when I'm reading at night. 


As for me, on a company call now, wrapping up year-end stuff. Today is my last workday until the new year. 

Just finished an unplanned puppy bath. Harley used the potty pad and I told her she was a good girl so she got excited and stepped backward into the poo, slid and then plopped right down in the poo. smh.

Learned that she is not impressed with baths.

Just back from a trip to pick up some neighbor gifts for the holidays.

Had to clean the carpet this AM. Somebody didn't want to go out in the cold last night.

Didn't get enough sleep last night. Sometimes all the meds I have to take upset my stomach or give me weird dreams. I had a Vietnam flashback a couple of weeks ago which still upsets me. I think I'll go back to bed for a couple of hours after my nerves settle down.
