I lived in the USVI for about a year and a half. Found out that I couldn't take island life.

The rampant misandry and misogony, the lack of investment in infrastructure, the goverentment basically hoarding tax money and making personal expenses, tax money going into religious based institutions, like hindu schools, law enforcement basically running the gangs themselves. It's a nightmare. It why I hate how Hollywood always potrays the Caribbean as this tropical wonderland. Try living here. Atleast primary and secondary education as well as healthcare is free.
