I have been looking for recipes for Christmas Eve...things to munch on that are simple but most everyone would like. Something different. Must I really read a memoir when trying to find out the ingredients, instructions, etc. I am to the point of suggesting everyone bring their own food. That or ordering pizza. Sheesh.

Easy Christmas candies: get some chow mein noodles (how much depends on how many people). Mix them with various kinds of melted chocolate - dark, milk, white - until the noodles are just coated. Dollop them onto waxed or parchment paper until the choccy sets. Boru

It hit me today that...thirty years ago, I caught more fish on a single day than everyone I've ever taught to fish has caught, combined, since.
