Someone needs a bigger/better shoehorn. 'I know god fits in here, if I can somehow just wedge it in'.

A creator god is unnecessary. Trying to use science to help prop up a religious belief is silly. But if your belief makes you feel better then what ever gets you thru your life is all right. I just won't validate it.

IKR? Gods is magic, it says so right on the packaging. Outside of spacetime, able to perform all manner of science-defying feats. Science is the answer to godism, not the explanation for it.

I know it can be challenging for theists here, one of the reasons that is, is because so many of them take a morbid interest in our demises. It's weird and offputting. As an aside and nitpick, 'atheist' needn't be capitalized.

Indeed. Science has been correcting or invalidating religious thought/belief for centuries. It's kind of sad that religions hold on some minds makes them jump thru these ridiculous attempts at rationalization.
