One can only hope. Chippy certainly is incapable of learning anything.

Quote:‘In other words, Bill, Christianity is not a blind faith, it is an objective faith—a rational logical faith based on facts. It is not like the blind, subjective faith of the evolutionist. Although we can’t scientifically prove our faith, because we can’t scientifically PROVE anything in relation to the past, none the less, we can logically defend our faith.
Based on facts? I have yet to see any.
Your mind is closed. He may have started with faith, but that doesn't mean there is no evedince the other way.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Really? then let's see it.
As I said before your real task is not to disprove Evolution but to prove that the universe is only 6000 years old.
Do that and Evolution automatically falls.

No I'll be willing to see any evidence you have.

Since this is an atheist forum where the default position is that the universe is old I rather think the burden is on you but to start
This is the Andromeda galaxy, the Milky ways nearest neighbour.
It is 2.26 million light years distant, which means of course that the light we see now has taken 2.26 million years to get here.
And that is the nearest galaxy, there are many more that are billions of light years away, therefore........

True good point. However I just heard a new point explaining this. We all know time is relative and all according to Einstein. But the question is what if the stars were spread out dramatically? How would this effect time? If the universe was streach in such a dramatic fashion it could allow millions of years to pass out there but not on earth. Especially if it happened beyond the speed of light. I still need to read the book though.

I thought you were going to offer evidence for a young universe.
