Okay I do think this thread went downhill fast. Still, what are you expecting when you come onto an atheist forum and effectively say to us that we are missing 'the big picture'??

Yes I drag up these things because they are completely relevant when you wonder why atheists can be hostile towards theists. I genuinely have no problems and am more than happy to talk to you in a reasonable way. All I am saying is if you want I calm discussion I'm more than happy to chat. I can even understand your reaction to my post. But it wasn't meant to come across that way.

I said I have finally come to focus on the bigger picture. For me, the bigger picture is that there is more to be understood and utilized by not engaging in battles that have no resolution. But that's me. I think I'll wander over into the other forums now and see what's up there. Thanks for your response.
