Can YOU still be a firm atheist after watching these?

RE: Can YOU still be a firm atheist after watching these?
I must admit that's an excellent Dalek Smile lol

And yeah the stuff about DMT is interesting I must admit, although I still think there are aspects of this that that doesn't explain entirely (particularly the second video):

1) Apparently his mum knew he was dying and was praying

2) The voice told him things he didn't seem to already know

3) He woke up ages later I would assume, in the morgue!

I dunno I mean, perhaps you could explain it with jellyfish poison, DMT, etc.

But I just always think wouldn't I feel STUPID if I just brushed all this aside despite points like the ones above, and then I was wrong. I would be thinking "Man.. I had ALL this evidence and I didn't even listen to it" (including the stuff that is genuinely quite interesting about Jesus and the history surrounding him.

I dunno... it's pretty intense O.O

Hmm, so you're suggesting it is stupid to rationally explain NDE?

No, no...

Just sometimes I speak to atheists and they brush this stuff aside (and the evidence of Jesus) SO SO fast. And I think that's why some people get this false impression that atheism is like a religion in itself (not true, but I can see where the confusion lies) because some people stick to it SO dogmatically!! Even when presented with good counter-evidence!

I just wanna know the truth ^^

Personal experience isn't evidence. Just saying....
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Well, there's interesting evidence about Jesus as well. Corinthians and the acknowledgement of Jesus by both Islam and Judaism is pretty much proof enough to me that he was an important figure in history O.O

1) People pray all the time. It doesn't mean a thing. I would think it obvious that a religious person would be praying if they believed their child to be dying.
2) You'd be surprised what you didn't know you knew.
3) That happens sometimes. I'm not sure what your point is on this point. Do you think god waved his magic wand and put him in the morgue? Don't you think that if some divine intervention was going on he would have come around before being taken to the morgue? Seems a bit too sloppy to me.

As for "ALL" that evidence? I wouldn't call that "evidence" at all. Think about how that would stand up in a Court Of Law? You'd be laughed out by Judge and Jury!

Your fake atheist/agnostic act is pretty transparent. What did you hope to achieve by lying about your own beliefs anyway? It's a wee bit unnecessary.

I have never been presented with "good" counter-evidence. Deliver this mythical information to me at once!

The problem is, anecdotal evidence is not very compelling. I've had people tell me they have actually, physically battled demons. However, they had nothing but their word to offer as proof. My personal view is, nothing short of God coming down and changing the whole of reality, for everyone, for ever, is going to be enough to prove the existence of such a being. Even then, how would we know that it isn't just a personal delusion that we believe everyone else is sharing, when in actual fact they are not?

I don't know if he existed, I'm not claiming that he didn't because I don't know. However what I am quite sure of is that if he existed, he would of been just a man and did not resurrect.

When it comes to jebus, I couldn't give a fuck about him.
