RE: Intelligent design: could we do better?
Tell you what, you guys see fit to make me God and I'll sort all this shit out.
Seriously, I've got a plan drawn up in crayon and everything.

Does it involve the words:

ZIP
FLOP
SLAP

by any chance?

(Haha sorry I couldn't resist)

But you do. You know what crawling around on your belly entails, and the prospect of it seems shit because of that.

But if I could fly I would know what walking entails and the prospect would still probably seem shit. lol.

I thought I was making sense but I'm rather ill and its entirely possible I am creating spectacular nonsense.

You'd have to ask a Frenchman.

Sorry, I had wrongly assumed the Emperor of the French was a Frog.

Awwww shucks Nap, now you ruined it.

On a serious note it would include making loads of portals to different worlds where the laws are completely different.
One of those worlds would basically be an orgi world where everyones bodies are made instantly perfect and everyones inhibitions are lowered by a staggering amount without the need for alcohol.

EXACTLY.

Facepalm

What I'm saying is, is perfection can't really exist without imperfection. The imperfection in this scenario is walking. If walking wasn't a shittier proposition than flying then flying wouldn't be so special would it?

Or maybe it's me who's gone on a tangent....

What would be more awesome than flying then? Teleportation, perhaps? Smile
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

It was just a hypothetical question Big Grin

Sure. But I never asked for perfection just something a bit less shit. Just because you need imperfection to have a concept of perfection doesn't mean a deity gets an excuse to make something a bit shit.

Surely the point in being a deity is that you could make something perfect. Also couldn't you just give them the knowledge that they are perfect? To be honest I don't really give a shit about perfection I just don't like walking round getting blisters and tripping up on things.

No offense to any humans for calling us all a bit shit but lets be honest here.
