In other words, multiplying by zero. Preachers, ordained or otherwise, don't have clout, they have opinion. Why should an opinion of such a person carry any weight over that of anyone else, merely by virtue of their expressing it?

Actually it has happened many times. It is usally frowned upon as a further division of the Chruch, but that is why we have Baptists, and then southern baptist, or methodists, lutherns and so on and so fourth. One of you claimed their are over 30,000 diferent brands of Christianity remember all of them stem from one.
