Not really... my position is that shoot= a controlled explosion propelling a projectile Smile

So i originally treated *bang* as that explosion, but you would be right that some (many?) guns shoot faster than the speed of sound. Or do they???

"Shoot" doesn't mean anything more than that explosion Smile So I reject that you require aiming, bracing, or even any human component to 'shoot' something Smile

Both shooting and spanking imply that A moved to point B Smile I don't see how this has anything to do with aiming or bracing or humans though Tongue

Most guns fire a projectile faster than the speed of sound, but most of those projectiles only reach that speed when it has left the barrel already.
