[Please God let her be talking about me.]

I only read page one but think I have a killer suggestion. How about the best argument for God, if you're an atheist, or against God if you're a theist/deist/pan-whateverist?

Beat you to it whateveristTongue
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

What, worried about me winning? Thinking That's the same reason yall are against the 'creative writing' shit too, isn't it? It's all one giant conspiracy... Dodgy

But, it just won't be that fun, I suppose.

Could anyone else read my entry? Serious question. I know I could read it without particular trouble (including the filler stuff that is obviously not supposed to be read, that I then read afterwards).

I would totally drop another one down.

I'm reasonably sure I can't compete with Tiberius in a programming competition, but I really don't think he would stand a chance against me for a song-writing competition.

Point being - to get a majority vote on a competition may prove to be far more difficult than the actual competition.

I'd compete in something I'm not 'good' at. But getting me to compete in something I'm not interested in? I could be the best in the world, and still not do it.

Albeit... money's a solid way to interest a person Smile

So... could I troll? Tiger

No, not really. I'd prefer a less subjective contest (like the old King of The Hill thread).

The one between me and rhythm 2 years ago was fucking awesome. I would do that again, but it'd be in september, probably. Still want to have an all-out forum war for a day (all mod activity suspended for one day), but y'know... I'd have too much fun with it. We'd probably have to put up an 'only 18 or older' legal-shit-jumper-outer for that, though.

Well not quite. We haven't been able to convince everyone to work together to foil you yet. But we're working on it.

The only competition I could engage in would be a writing contest.

Thinking about Violet wrapped in foil was not on my agenda for the night, thanks for that!

I don't know. Drizzled with virgin olive oil and parsley with a nice sage stuffing.....

Suddenly, my mouth is watering.
