The End Game of Atheism

You have to learn it. You don't have to believe it. You can be a good practitioner without believing it. I know two good doctors personally who are creationists. As long as they don't let it interfere with how they do medicine, doctors can believe all kinds of weird things and still do a good job by their patients.

Did I indicate I didn't? I was a little hellion. I got paddled daily by my mom, my teacher, and the principal.

If you hadn't gotten so damned big we'd all be wailing on you still. Unfortunately, you're the only one who can stop you from being a dumb ass now. Are you up to that?

Forget about stupid, have you seen a shrink? What do you think is bringing all this up now? I wonder if your own doubts coupled with your expectation that you must indoctrinate your own kids might really be stressing you out? If they're counting on you, get help!

I'm glad to contribute snark to a thread already so full of evasive maneuvers by one so skilled as yourself. When you come up with answers we haven't seen a billion times all over the internet, and manage to do so without looking like a bored troll, I'll drop honey instead of vinegar.

Until then, I stand in awe of your patient bullshittery.

I started this post by asking a question, which was just for my information. Several dozen accusations and insults later we come to your post. Again, welcome to the "Hall of Hypocrisy," have a seat over there.

True that. I read somewhere about how we compartmentalize our brains. Which would explain holding 2 contradicting beliefs and turning them on and off at the appropriate time.

But to say that humans will evolve into energy and god like beings. The only time i saw that happen was on star trek.

"Look, Science is flawed because it is performed by men. I shouldn't have to expose my children to such things if I choose not to.

So you don't despise science - you just choose to teach your kids from a 3000 year old book instead rather than exposing them to science?

Do try to make at least a modicum of sense.

Because history never repeats itself, therefore history is for those ignorant Theists. I am continually amazed at Atheists aversion to history.

You started this thread with a question that was answered. You didn't like the answer, and thus began chucking all sorts of trash in our direction hoping we'd agree that we live in a dump. And you're surprised we don't agree?

You keep using this word "hypocrisy" at me. I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Personal insults again, please find another thread where you don't have to resort to such desperate measures.

When you people publish a tome of the details of your life that lead you to Atheism I will have mine rolling off the presses too. Till then, I refer to my previous response.

I am asking you to tell us how you tested your religion. I don't want your life story and I don't want how you came to believe what you believe. All I want is how you tested your religious beliefs. If us as atheists are asked to present evidence of our own experiment to test our disbelief we would happily comply.
You are dodging my question because you probably haven't tested your beliefs at all. You were probably born into your religion. Probably grew up with. Probably just accepted it. Probably read your holy book and had a good feeling inside, so decided it was true.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

What thrash was I chucking? Quotes please? Or are you just going to stick to lies, insults, and hypocrisy?

What is there to agree to? I was asking the question, and it spiraled down the toilet from there because Atheists are like attack dogs. Their first instinct is to tear into a Theist the first chance they get. If the Theist defends themselves the Pious Council, chaired by you it seems, rolls around with their moral condemnation of the Theist imagined behavior.
