One question for Christians

"COMPLEX"?

No need to convince you of anything but where to have lunch my very self absorbed friend.

You aren't interested in answers. If God stood in front of you, you'd stomp on his foot (as many here) for all the pain he's caused [you] and the poor babies dying throughout the millennium.

The only concept you are interested in is that of confusion. Rather than trying to look outside a window of your small world, you slam it shut on the fingers of those you ask to enter.

A true thinker tries to understand.... no matter how out of their realm it seems.

Next time I'll just throw scripture at you. Maybe you'll feel more ministered to.

Jesus is right, "Only those given to Him by the Father will enter the kingdom of God." No need for me to do anything....but grab the popcorn!

God did it is not an answer. It is an excuse to think unreasonably.

Well after you're done eating popcorn maybe, just maybe you can actually answer the questions posed to you - so that a person can understand rather than wasting all your effort beating feet?!

So I see the point you are trying to make with your parent analogy. Unfortunately, I also see the flaws in it. For one thing, were I to have been a father, I would have been in my children's lives for as long as I would have been able. I would have been there for them, caring for them, nurturing them, protecting them. They could have come to me for anything they'd need and I would have given it to them without another thought. In short, I would have been existent. Do I seriously need to complete the point? Seriously?

Re: sin is the absence of God - Please stop the Dolphinetics (leaping from one point and then diving into another). I am not a child and I don't care for being treated like one. First you claim that sin is something against God's will; now it is the absence of God. If you don't want to make up your mind then that's okay, I'll just find a grownup to talk to and leave you to the tender mercies of the wolfpack.

Sorry for your childlessness. I think I would've adopted. But anyway... I wasn't treating you like a child.

How do you get away with treating me that way? "Why doesn't God wish Himself out of existence." WTF does that mean?

I don't know if its your lack of understanding/thinking or just dumbing-up the concept I'm trying to convey? Either way, there is no need to take your toy and go home.... I won't try to hurt your feelings!

....sin is the absence of God.... because it isn't a "thing". It's a transgression against God's will for us.

As far as your child analogy? Have you ever witnessed a spoiled brat? Well, it seems you would have one, totally dependent on you for everything. Who would end-up hating you one day, for all your troubles.

I have a friend with 2. One is 33, the other 36. Both still at home. One is a drug addict and the other never worked a day in his life, and is afraid to leave the house. His wife is also spoiled, and does nothing but shop and sit on her ass all day.

My good, hard working, very gentle hearted friend has cried to me many times about them! He says, "I gave them nothing but love, and all the best things money can buy." Where have I gone wrong?"

What would you tell him? I tell him there is basically nothing he can do...NOW!

You want to talk about dying babies, do you? Take a good, hard look at the person in your avatar, and then do some basic Google research on her. Afterwards, perhaps you'll find that she lost more lives than she could have potentially saved. And, still, your church crowns her as a saint.

Here's a good verse from your own holy book that you should think hard about before you go making wild accusations like this again:
Matthew 7:3
"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

For [you] its not an answer. Your sounding like a broken record?

For you God doesn't exist...so why even approach it? Not even in your realm of possibility. "No!" Que?

So...what's the point? Insomnia?

Lets turn it around! ......WHY DOESN'T GOD EXIST?

God does not exist period, except as a concept in the minds of men. Through the sheer will of imagination alone, man created god as one creates fiction.

There needs to be no reason for something to not exist. If it does not exist, it simply does not exist. End of story.

You believe everything you hear?

What a joke.... Mister Holier than thou!

Mother Theresa helped more people in one week than you, or millions like you will in your lifetime!

I think you have enough "beam" in your eyes for everyone within several miles!

I don't believe everything I hear, which is why I don't take you on your word when you have an outrageous claim like, "Mother Theresa helped more people in one week than you, or millions like you will in your lifetime." Thanks for asking though.
