Attn: Theists - What would it take to prove you wrong?

Illogical.

Illogical.

Illogical.

An eternal source (which in itself didn't begin to exist) for all that began to exist is logical. All that begins to exist has a cause.

God provides the context for what we can explain not an explanation for what we can't explain.

Not knowing the cause of something does not mean one forgoes with intellectual reason by erroneously asserting that the cause is something for which there is no evidence to support its existence.

The former is false while the latter is true.

Apologies, I read your comment as "not explain". Islam says the exact same thing and does it in a more descriptive way, why would/should I take your stories over theirs?

Philosophical proof. All effects have a cause, no effect can be uncaused. The ultimate first cause of all the effects that exist everywhere in reality must not in itself be caused by anything itself. God is the uncaused cause which must therefore exist for anything else to exist.

As maelstrom said, not proof. Prove causality is valid in every case, particularly in the case where the human notion of the time arrow is incoherent.

While you're at it, you can attempt to prove that an infinite regress is necessarily impossible. Good luck with that.

Oh, and while you're at THAT, prove that the universe itself is not eternal.

Actually causation is three part. You've named 2 of them that you are supposing. God is the efficient cause, and the universe is the formal cause. But what is the material cause? From what did God exert his energy upon to bring about the universe? You of course realize that power, no matter how great, is made manifest only when exerted upon something. Without any object to affect, there can be no effect and God would be rendered impotent. You see what happens when you want to use human understanding to prove a stupid idea that can't be rationally defended? You sound stupid. Your God is a bust. Fail again.
