You want me to comment directly on your comments ? You aren't even going to the effort of asking a question?

Your first comment seems to be about iron deciciency which you admit can be solved through eating spinach but then claim you will eat steak because it has protein as well whereas you could eat spinach nuts and seeds , tofu etc and get both that way

Your second comments complain that you are not being answered properly.

Ask a specific question and you will get a specific answer

Oh, huh. I guess you're too short-sighted to find a question in my post, and too lazy to actually read it. I guess you missed the part where I have an allergy to nuts and that I was a very unhealthy vegetarian when I was one. Never mind, la ban. You go on with your bad self on this one. You are extremely closed-minded. Also, you can put me on ignore. It's fine. I don't really care if you read this or not.

Wow you really are one self obsessed, entitled little madam aren't you. poor little girl has 'psycho problems AND her therapist says so! and then we must actually find the questions in your post because you are too self centered to actually ask them. You are just a selfish spoiled little brat who thinks the world exists for her own benefit.

Are you fuckin serious? It seems to me you are throwing all this at rex in an outburst of rage based on a simple difference of opinion. Rex is not at all how you describe her and I see nothing in her posts that could have earned such a nasty response. You need to chill, dude.

You did, dumbass
Let's play a fun game. It's called "Read what you just quoted." Are "beans, tofu, flax, yeast, etc. etc." all nuts, dumbass?

Quote:There is no physical reason why you cannot eat another human being. But, by killing an eating another human being for no other reason than you wanted to, is probably a symptom of being a psychopath. Also considering all the people you will hurt by killing the person and by cutting short all those relationships for no other reason than eating the person and taking into consideration that there is literally billions of other animals you could eat, it would be extremely selfish of you.
What if only humans provide satisfying sustenance for me? Surely, if it's in my nature to eat people, then my need to respect their suffering and loss of life is suspended, right? Am I really morally obligated to pursue other forms of nutrition, when eating people is so convenient and feels so right and natural to me?

You are engaged in an emotional interchange with a person who has explicitly stated she has some psychological issues, and especially with the issue being discussed in this thread. I can only assume that either: 1) you are vegetarian because of YOUR psychological issues, or 2) you're an asshole

I think it's probably #1. But for me, this post borders on abuse, especially given what rex has told us about her history with this issue. Let's all cool down a little, and make this a philosophy thread again.

I just see an entitled Brat who demands others replies without setting questions. Her posting is about what she needs.

Stop playing this game, you know you were wrong, we all know you were wrong. You referred to Rex's nut allergy as an 'extremely rare genetic condition' just admit it and i'll let it go.

As a human being it isn't in your nature to eat other human beings. This is due to us being a social species that lives in groups and so needs to co-operate to survive. Eating each other would disrupt that. And I know how pedantic you are so i'm going to go ahead and cut you off before you say that humans have been canabalistic in the past. True but this canabalism has been conducted between different tribes where the warriors believed eating the flesh of their enemies would make them stronger. So that doesn't count.
So, there is no chance that eating other people would feel natural to you, unless you had some kind of mental disorder. And I seriously doubt that eating other people would be convenient to you at all unless you were a member of one of those amazon tribes who still conduct canabalism. Seeing as killing people for no other reason than eating them is against the law, it would be possibly one of the most inconvenient ways to get food in the world.

Okay, seriously starting to think la ban is a troll now. And have you seen his threads recently? Does god have a butthole? Why are christians so obsessed with anal sex? Why are christians so obsessed with beating children? Time to legalise prostitution?
He positively reeks of troll, or poe, maybe a mix of both?

No. To be allergic to all sources of vegetarian protein, of which I gave a list which you quoted not once but twice and still ignored, would be a rare genetic disorder. It's better if you respond to the arguments I actually make, instead of the ones you assume I've made without actually bothering to read a whole sentence.

For those among the human population who have a desire to eat other people, what would you have them do? Submit to their nature, or resist it on the ground that indulging in killing people for their food involves unncessary suffering?

Still think this is about "nature"? I'd argue that's not the case:

It's in my nature, when seeing stuff like that, not to want to be part of that process.

I don't agree with the "nature" argument for eating meat, or the argument of dietary necessity, so I didn't +1 your post.

But let me +1 the part about la ban. I think it's worse than trolling-- it's turned into harrassment and a deliberate assault on a nice person.

Since all the flesh I ever ate came from pure vegan animals, I guess I am indirectly vegan too.

I would urge those people to get some kind of therapy because i'm pretty sure wanting to be a cannibal is some kind of mental disorder. If they refuse therapy, I would advise them to resist on the grounds that it's wrong to kill a person for no good reason and that they would either be executed or spend the rest of their lives in jail if they did eat someone.
