The right-wing's distress makes me smile. I really wish it was as good...I mean "bad" as they are making this out to be. Equality for all citizens? WHAT? HYPOCRISY! OFF WITH OUR HEADS! How dare we suggest we deserve equality! Our equality is equivalent to Christian persecution!

It's worth noting that this meeting is with Whitehouse officials, but not the President himself.

That said, it's still awesome news. Following through with his atheist shout-out during his inaugeration speech.

America's religion is genuinely astonishing. It has shaped society so much more there, than anywhere else. It's one reason I'm glad I don't live there.

I am genuinely offended by the American attitude towards atheism.

The right wing also views anyone who takes a position against incenst as belonging to a hate group; so little surprise here.
