That's the whole point of Theism. Believing in something in the total and complete absence of objective evidence. Cuz really, the point of a theistic person's life is not to get freedom from suffering, because that's basically impossible. It's about being all right with the suffering because God loves you. Then ya just go from there.

God is the claim and the Bible is the evidence of a revelation from God rather than the evidence for Gods existence.

The Bible is only for people who believe in God to begin with and contains no arguments or evidence to convince an atheist. Therefore it can't be used as evidence for God it's only evidence for what God has to say if you already believe in God.

Gotcha again.. but I believed in god when I was younger and never really read the bible. Then I finally did read the bible three times over and now I really dont believe theres a god...
