I've never signed up to TTA, but I've heard about it. Are their mods a bit soup nazi-ish? I'm wondering why the ban, too.
I got banned cause I tested the hypothesis that at TTA you can be a total dick without repercussions(from the moderators).
What I did was this. I set a time frame of one week to conduct the test. I randomly selected a poster. Every time I saw that poster had made a post I replied by insulting that poster without any additional content. It turns out that yes you can be a total dick and you won't even get a warning.
What you can't do is test the hypothesis that at TTA you can be a total dick without repercussions. Once I revealed to the administrator that I concluded my test he banned me.
I'm cool with ban. You should never insult anyone. I'm not upset at TTA or the moderators there(although I think they are inconsistent and don't follow their own rules). Its actually a good little forum.
If you ever get a chance to check it out I recommend it.

Pretty sweet. You got banned for owning the admin.

It wasn't like that. I didn't own him. I think maybe I pissed off the owner or something because at first the admin was cool about everything. His last words to me were, "But again... you are under no restraint or probation".
I log off, come back later and find out the ban hammer came down. He made a complete about face.

It's always pretty sweet when you catch someone being hypocritical like that. Even if you do get the ban in response.
