I'm still waiting for the biblical passages supporting the assertion that chickens have souls.
[/quote]
"Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Genesis 2:7
I believe the soul is what makes us living beings. Therefore I believe that chickens have souls. That doesn't mean that they are the same level as mankind, but they have a spiritual aspect to their nature.

That's what you see when you add Christian presuppositions to what the Old Testament actually says. But the Old Testament, stripped off these presuppositions, does not say what you think it says.
That's if you want to disregard 1/3 or so of the bible.

Then why doesn't it expressly say so? And also if the trinity is god's true form, why don't muslims and Jews believe in it, who follow basically the same holy book?
Ditto.

Hate to disappoint you but neither Christianity or Hebrew religions invented the idea of a "soul". Human ignorance in concocting such an absurd idea was around in much older polytheism prior. The ancient Egyptian dynasties are much older and they too believed in "souls".
Now here is the scientific reality you and most humans regardless of which fictional sky hero they claim, that none of you want to face.
WHEN YOUR BRAIN DIES YOU DIE, thats it, lights out. You are nothing more than your brain in motion, much like if you take a sledge hammer to your computer and pulverize the parts it will no longer function.
I could give one rats ass who your pet sky hero is or what point in human history it was concocted. Humans make up gods and that is all it amounts to. Quote your ancient comic book all you want, it will not change the reality you refuse to face.
All you prove when you quote a holy book is your ability to swallow superstition. It is no different when other people quote their books either.
The chicken has a brain, smaller in size of course, but animals, including humans having brains is a result of EVOLUTION, not comic books.

Too bad that belief isn't supported by anything, including scripture.
"God formed man from the dust of the ground" sure sounds familiar.

You are playing around with the words here. We were discussing only the Old Testament with regards to the Trinity, not the whole Bible.
Nowhere in the Old Testament is there a reference for the Trinity. Sure, Christians will interpret it as alluding to the Trinity here and there, but such an interpretation requires Christian presuppositions in the first place.

Since the new testament is the fulfillment of the old testament, which was a prediction of the coming of the messiah, I do interpret it from a new testament perspective.

But why are we talking about the bible at all? How is it supposed to be an authoritative reference book for matters relating to the soul? Pettifoggery at its worst.
Do chickens have souls? Perhaps we should start with an unambiguous, verifiable description of the soul we are alleged to possess. Then we could go looking for it in other animals. In the mean time you may as well be talking about the presence and relative strength of 'the force'. Of course you like that ambiguity so long as it is a tale you're spinning. It provides you all the cover you need carry on your charade.

It's a Christian presupposition that the NT fulfills the OT.

It's not a presupposition. It's an actual fulfillment. The very first christians were Jews, by the way.
