I'm sure that thought terrifies nuts like you.

Incapable of summarizing your argument? I doubt you've read the Bible, but that doesn't stop you from opening your pie hole.

How is this "very clear from literal translation of the text"?

How is it not?

So what is the deal with science? Did he post and run?

I was really looking to have a member here that goes by 'science' as "science" is often times the punchline to my jokes and points of irony you all seem to ignore.

How can someone believe something that isn't precisely defined? WTF is that thing they call a god? Their only defense is faith. Because god hides. Except when you really want to believe it.

The short answer is that the Bible is an ethnocentric Jewish relies fairy tale and people love to believe in those kinds of stories. They also like ethnocentric Arabian religious fairy tales like those in the Koran.

People also like fairy tales that promise them big rewards. The bigger the rewards the more strongly people will believe in the fairy tale. The Bible actually has some stories that illustrate that point.

Well of course there is no god, so forget about the whole thing of trying to work it all out.

This really shouldn't leave any questions.

"Who is God?".
The one who created Heaven and Earth.

"How did God create Heaven and Earth?"
By his words.

"Who created God?"
An eternal being does not need a creator.

Well you can say this steak I am eating right now came from a cow. Which came from the store. Which came from the butcher. Which came from the farm. And so on and so on. But eventually you will say where did the universe come from.

Then that's when God comes in. Because He only logical answer to the creation of the universe is some one created it (set the dominos into motion.) . And that my friend is God.

But let me ask you this who is God? Well by this I am trying to show that God is the unmoved mover nothing set him in motion He set the universe into motion. Ulitmently leading up to my steak. You see we can't have have something come from nothing it just does not work that way.

Well, except for the fact that that is not the only logical answer.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Because it doesn't say, "In the beginning, God was sitting in His temple."
It says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
That describes a creation process, not a 'temple' of any sorts.

That's the thing God did not come from anything because god is a myth

Fixed that for you.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
