I can only see white and gold. I see the bluish tint in the white, but that seems to be from the lighting, shadow, and my brain thinking no one would make a dress that is light blue and gold. Like CM said, if I squint really hard, I can see blue and black.
What I find fascinating is the mechanics or the seemingly arbitrary reasoning behind things like this going viral. It is amazing to me.

Earlier today the dress looked white and gold now it looks black and blue, I don't what the fuck is going on but I'm really annoyed at this fucking picture for changing color on me, I want an explanation.

It looks more like lavender and gold to me. Of course, the lavender could be due to the light.

I think the truth is that, in the picture, the colors are GOLD and PASTEL BLUE.
Your brain interprets the bright light on the side of the photo to suggest a bigger difference between the two colors than there is, and that either pushes the brighter color up the scale towards white, or the darker color down the scale towards black.
Basically, our brains know it's a picture and are guessing (without our permission) what the colors are IRL, based on how we know bright light affects a photograph.

I am severely colorblind, and it just looks like a blue dress with some brown trim to me.
But fuck if I'm ever right with shit like this. People start talking shades and hues and my brain just shuts down. I have no way to discern any of that.
