That is one brave young man.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Back to the video though, I can't believe the other guy had the nerve to part his lips and suggest ISIS aren't Islamic. I mean, isn't their name enough? Please...

But you know the usual excuse, "They're not *real* Muslims!", "Real Muslims wouldn't do that!"

The apologists are as bad as Christians.

Pretty sure that ISIS is real islam after all you know barbaric laws for barbaric people. Also violence gratuitous amounts of violence. The only people i can see trying to say ISIS isn't islam is the same people who are trying to defend a barbaric religion and trying to keep it looking like its good when it is not.

I just still can't believe the other guy in that video, talking bout some "Egypt embraces bahais, homosexuals, communists" whatever else he said. I see he stopped short of saying they embrace the Copts though, no way he can spin that one...

As for his claim that Egypt is the mother of all cultures... that's certainly debateable, but the "Egypt" that is the mother of civilisation was not the same Islamic Egypt that goes by that name today. They're worlds apart and may as well have different names.

He pretty much wrong when he said that about the mother of all cultures that was pure bullshit and he probably needs to go read a history book. And yes i agree with you wholly.

Yeah I had to laugh at that one.

Imagine a gay couple in Egypt kissing in public. I'm sure we'd see exactly how much Egypt 'embraces' homosexuals then.

What's with the foreboding music? Seems out of place. Was this an attempt at Islamic propaganda?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

It does.

Very tightly.

With both hands.

Around the neck.

RE: Wow, he went IN.
When ISIS were smashing up that museum in Iraq it reminded of the story of Muhammad smashing the idols in Mecca. Maybe it's not a good comparison but that's what came to my mind. I don't like ISIS but at least do what the Quran instructs them to do and aren't in denial about what the Quran says. They more honest believers than these disingenuous 'moderates' we so often hear in the news.

They are so dishonest about the Quran that they won't even quote verses properly. Every time I hear Quran 5:32 in the news I cringe. Quran 5:32 is an instruction only to the Jews by they would have you believe it applies to humanity in general. What people do is only quote part of the verse so it makes the verse seem better than it actually is. The verse is as follows:
"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land."

The part people hear on the news is only:
"if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people."
They ignore the rest of the verse because that's how dishonest (and desperate) they are!

There are too many, what I would call, "Salad Bar Believers" around. A Salad Bar Believer is somebody who decides what they want to believe based on what appeals to them and not what their chosen religious text(s) want them to believe. It is clear that the interpretation of religious texts is so often driven by ones desires. Hence, we get people who don't want to be violent - i.e. the real extremists. The people are violent aren't the radical ones in my opinion because they acknowledge that the way more violent Medinan verses supersede Meccan verses (the Meccan verses came before the Medinan ones).

What an extremely brave young man, standing up and saying what needs to be said. He pretty much exactly sums up my thoughts. If you worship the quran, you condone the immoral acts contained within it. The same goes for christianity, of course. That other guy's "defence" was pathetic. Notice how he totally ignored the points being made. And to say ISIS is not islam because America said so is laughable.

He's totally right. The reason people follow islam so much more frequently than other religions, and find it harder to leave, is because it's made near impossible to leave. Forget just losing your family, you may be losing your life. What sick lies need death threats to back up?
