I understand that extreme heat can damage the brain, which is one reason why a very high fever is something that should be treated by a doctor immediately.  And it does get very hot in much of Texas in the summer.

Perhaps Texas state guard will shoot at U.S. troops, obama can declare it the second day of infamy, and nuke texas's ass.   What better way is their to make the world safer by getting rid of nuclear weapons than through detonating them in some red state?

The only problem with that idea is that there would be radioactive fallout that would not stay within the state borders.  So conventional weapons will need to be used.
