RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Just posted my first proper book review for an as-yet unreleased novel; the author tweeted a link to it which got me the most hits my fledgling blog has had in one day, in about half an hour!

I'm taking my daughter to college there in mid August. We're going to take Amtrak for two overnights to get there. The train follows the north boarder of the U.S. all the way across. Should be lovely scenery.
Bring back some pics! ![Smile Smile](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I will. Though really, I don't expect the best pics from a moving train. I've hiked in the Columbia Gorge and Glacier National Park both many times and been through them by car many more. And those are the highlights. But the train goes where neither car nor foot paths do, so I expect to see them differently. Also the national parks have volunteers on board to identify and talk about the scenery in the observation car. They were fun between Portland and Seattle. I hope for more of the same on this trip.
There isn't much passenger train service left in the U.S. and this is one of the better pieces remaining.
I'm looking forward to a lot of mommy/daughter time before I let her go.

Just got home from a massage, just paid bills, about to watch a documentary, and lamenting that I didn't take my kitties for walks this morning before it got to be 100+ degrees outside... I'm sorry, babies... I'll take you out for an hour each tomorrow!

I hope you didn't pay for that massage. All you'd have to do is take a flight out to Ohio. /creeper
Wait! Taking cats out for walks!?! How does that even work?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Taking cats for a walk= following cats around.

To give you an impression, today when I went to pick up my son at his mom's it was about 100F. A/C in my truck is a no-go. Even with the windows cracked only about an inch I didn't break a sweat in an hour and a half round trip. Yeah, uncomfortable, but with any kind of real humidity, I'd be dying in that heat.
