Should there be a Nobel Prize for Zoology?

Should there be a Nobel Prize for Zoology?
They have Chemistry, Physics and Medicine. So why not have a prize for areas of biology not to do with medicine? And while we're at it, how about a Nobel Prize for Astronomy?

Having one for Biology in the first place would be nice, no need to specialize. There have been quite a few Astronomy related prizes in the Physics category, whenever astronomical observations had an important impact on our understanding of laws or processes of nature.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Makes sense to me, but it won't happen. The Nobel Committee long ago decided that no new categories would be added.

In this era of increased focus on the environment and health it seems stupid not to have a biology prize. Perhaps it is an injustice? It's certainly unfair to biologists/naturalists.I can't claim to pay attention to the ceremony so I probably should be as disgruntled as I am.

Yes (but only because I pursuit a career in zoology)

Slight derail: Did you change your name? I don't remember you but I've rep'd you...
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

The main issue in expanding the prizes is that there's no end to the process. Suppose they add Zoology and Astronomy, as suggested. Then you have a hue and cry to award one for Electronics or Software Design. Physicists might want to specify categories for Optical Physics and Nuclear Physics. Chemists might want the Nobels to award specific medals and prize monies for Physical, Organic, and Colloidal Chemistry. Before long, you'd have 159 Nobel Prizes handed out every year, and the recipients would have to go all the way to Stockholm to pick up their $1.85.

This is why BAFTA don't hand out an award for Best Film Editing By A Left-Handed Zombie.
