Gaming is a form of art, merge Gaming and The Arts

Gaming is a form of art, merge Gaming and The Arts
Although I love that gaming has its own separate forum, gaming remains as much a form of art as any video, painting, or musical.

I recommend one of two things be done (but not the first one). As it is, the introduction to The Arts forum is
Quote:A forum for discussion of literature, music, film, theatre, and anything else you consider "art".
Now, I consider games to be an art, so a simple text change to the end could better clarify.

The second (only) option is rejoining the gaming forum with the arts. It isn't particularly active (though that could (possibly) change with me back, i think...), and The Arts is not a particularly active forum. Joining the two seems rather reasonable to me, and doesn't hold any particular form of art (except humor! I'm lookin at you, humor...) at a different status than the others. It would also shrink the scroll bar on the front page a smidgin, and improve the 'simple-easy-to-use' appearance of the site. Smile

Of course the third is completely ridiculous, so I didn't even mention it as a possibility above... but you could always leave it as it is, and look silly. Yeah! Silly! You don't want that, do you? Exactly, told you it was ridiculous Tiny Tiger

Do you mean playing the games or the games themselves?

Gaming covers all gaming, not just computer games. Card games are not "art", and even if they were, they fit far better in a gaming forum than an art forum. People want to discuss the games themselves, not the "beauty" of the games.
