We need someone like Bernie to start pulling the establishment to the left before we get real liberals in office.
I thought Bernie was a liberal. What do you consider "real" liberalism?

Republicans have pulled the views so far to the right that the most liberal people would be considered centrists in other countries. I'm not sure what a real extreme liberal would look like.

What I meant was, what kind of policies/ideals would make someone a "real liberal" that people like Bernie don't have?

I'm not sure. I haven't been very interested in politics until recently. I guess the opposite of Mike Huckabee. Maybe a pure socialist?

Here you go, dear.
Bernie's close enough for me.

I will never cast a vote for Hillary Clinton. I will have no problem casting a vote for Sanders if I'm given the opportunity.
Since we're discussing votes, there is one person in the GOP clown car that I would actually consider voting for. There is plenty not to like, but I would vote for John Kasich over Clinton. He doesn't have a hope in hell of getting the nomination, but he's the only person in the GOP field that resembles a statesman.

Bernie makes me happy. But not as happy as any one of the republicans would make me sad, very, very sad. I wonder how many more years it would take to flush the entire middle class down the toilet under republican leadership.

The Republican party, of which real Republicans of the past would be ashamed, truly needs to either die or revert back to what it once was.
