Geek to the core right here! Yes Sir EvF, I don't care if you judge my collection of LoTR characters in my cubicle. they are awesome.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
That reminds me off all the mocking and insulting comments from all the jocks when I would play Magic: The Gathering high school.

Same here when I played pen and paper D&D back in middle school. I think that's why I joined track and set so many school records, I had lots of practice running from the bullies.

We all met those blasé people who aren't interested in anything and exist just to mock you for getting all enthusiastic about something that interests you? Fuck those people, I've been surrounded by their ilk for too long!
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I would if I still had them, they are at home in a box now Not because I was getting made fun of, but because two came up missing and I'm pretty sure it was the cleaning crew. Our IT group is notorious for proudly displaying our geek. We talk video games, superhero TV shows and every Halloween collaborate our costumes.

Those jocks would talk shit when there was a few of them and I was with a couple of other nerds, but none of them would have done it one on one. People would pick on me a little but nowhere near to the point of bullying. One kid came close in third grade, and I punched him in the nose despite the fact that he was at least a foot taller than me. People left me a lone for the most part.

Wasn't as bad as the stories you hear nowadays, but had a recurring bully. That was until my grandfather taught me how to box. Only time I was ever suspended in school, and I don't regret it. He had it coming.
