That you can't see the difference is exactly WHY America needs a separation of church and state. The difference is that Kim Davis doesn't own the government-- she works for it, according to the law of the USA. By refusing to adhere to those laws, she represents a civil worker in rebellion-- she's taking pay from the government but refusing to follow its mandate.

Moslem store owners don't work for the government, or for their customers. They may choose to sell whatever products they like. It's 100% different. . . but of course you won't be able to see that.

Why is it Christians the Godless hate so much, much more than any other "religion?"

Because no other religious institution consistently attempts to undermine the American constitution by allowing (read: forcing) their own preferences and prejudices to invade the functioning of the goverment. You don't see Jewish government workers refusing to marry Muslims, do you, or vice versa? You don't see Hindu government workers attempting to prevent meat-eaters from getting married, do you?

Kim Kavis is like a vegetarian McDonald's worker refusing to serve meat. And that, obviously, is fucking stupid.

They should celebrate this woman's free expression and religious exercise in the name of "tolerance."

This isn't an issue of her free expression. On her free time, she can go to anti-gay rallies (i.e. church) as much as she wants. It's an issue of her deciding to rebel against the laws of the government for which she works, and doing so in a way which is intolerant of a group, and an act, which is now legally protected. The Bible lays out corporal punishment, but you can't hit children in a government building as an expression of your religious freedom. Because government > church when you're in a government building. And thank God for that.

It extends to religious bigots of all brands and colors. And I do not even stop there. I gladly and wholeheartedly extend my contempt to atheists who treat atheism like a religion.

She is one of the most disgusting people who I have ever seen. The fact that such a bigoted women is championed on public television in our country is fucking abhorrent to me. There's people like my brother, who say that he doesn't mind her and doesn't care about her. Isn't that just like a conservative. They don't care about the issues that other people are going through, yet they assert or allow others to assert the authority of their fucked up morality over everyone else. You know why Christians in our country are afraid of "the war on Christianity?" They see their power shifting to the non religious, they're afraid that they don't have fucking authority over others. This is why people always want to go back to the "good old days" of the 1950s. Back when sodomy was illegal, cross dressing would get you arrested for being a "pervert" and black people had to sit in the back of the bus. Once I read the second contents box is I could imagine the average person raising his or her eyebrows. People could easily go from thinking "Yeah. Fuck that Kim Davis! She is a monster!" to "What hell's wrong with this guy?". The violent imagery was unnecessarily serial-killerish. I don't think you should change your manner of writing/speaking altogether. Maybe dial it back about 20% when you're angry, just to be certain that a good/valid point doesn't get lost.

I'm sick of good valid points getting lost on the basis of "credibility" or "how that makes someone feel". I'm just fucking dead, laying in a puddle of my own vomit, when it comes to my patience for dealing with this crap. I see on facebook, on pro lgbt blogs, on news feeds, hear people say homophobic shit all the time, then I can't express the fucking height of my frustration? No, sorry, people lack the philosophical comprehension. I literally, to sooth my fucking pain of thinking about the fucking lizard that is kim davis, just imagined her dying. It is FUCKING SYMBOLIC! It represents all of my anguish over this issue, just getting ripped to shreds. Do I believe in killing people NOOO!!! But fuck anyone who thinks I actually do.
