Jeremy Corbyn is the best thing to happen to the Conservative party since Ed Miliband.
I'd have to say you're way out on that one. The best thing to happen to the Tories in the last 20 years was Tony Blair. By moving Labour onto Tory ground he massively shrunk the party's electoral base (he dropped four million votes between '97 and '07) and he got rid of any ideological opposition to Tory policy.
Corbyn is the antithesis of the Nu Labor movement, and may grow the party's base again if given time and room. Problem is that most of the parliamentary party is wedded to the corporate trough which feeds them free lunches and revolving door jobs and directorships, and has lost any semblance of party loyalty or interest in the country's good.
