Hey, just saw this thread. Sorry for the wait. It sucks.

When I was 19 I had the same procedure. They froze the abnormal cells and I had to do rechecks every six months for awhile. Everything was clear and I haven't even had an abnormal pap since. Sorry if it is TMI. That was nearly 30 years ago. Just wanted to share my positive experience.

I don't think it's TMI, and tbh I don't really care if others do lol. It's not sexual just medical.

Anyways, this is my third biopsy I am looking at some kind of weird cervical scraping if this comes back negative and paps every 2 months until if my HPV clears which is unlikely because it's a rare high risk strain that's apparently really hard to fight off. Or if it doesn't come back negative then we will be doing some more tests and discussing more options.

Sometimes if nothing is wrong they don't even bother contacting you, which is shitty I think, but it makes me wonder. Have they told you they'll get in contact whatever the situation?

Yes they have to contact me because regardless of the results there's a next step. It just means I have to wait until Monday to find out I guess.

Ok after 3 weeks that stretched on to feel like 3 centuries, my doctor's office finally called today to confirm stage 0 cervical cancer. It's really not that bad but for some reason I still feel like crying and throwing up at the same time. Undecided

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
