No worries, neither is it for me.  I have my own brand of humor, sometimes, but most people find it more disturbing than humorous.

I guess, to me, I see no reason why it should ever be the parents' decision to begin with. Cutting up someone else's genitals doesn't really seem like a parental responsibility to me. O.O

The only time I have a problem with it is when it comes to Edward Scissorhands mutilating a girl's genitals. There is no call for that whatsoever, because when compared to male circumcision, the most evil will always be female circumcision.

Not that I consider male circumcision evil anyway.

What is the difference between slicing off a labia vs slicing off a forskin? I'm not a doctor but I'm betting the foreskin has a lot more nerve endings. Or are you ok with female circumcision so long as it doesn't include cutting off the clitoris?

You misunderstand. I am not in favor of female circumcision whatsoever.

I want to know why it's ok to cut off a boy's foreskin but not a girls labia? Why?

growing up as a boy who did not care so much about keeping clean, I did not have to worry about the cleanliness part that uncut boys are inflicted with having to deal.

Oh yes, I was "inflicted" with having to pull back a piece of skin which is supposed to be there to clean the tip of my penis. Newsflash: circumcised guys have to clean their penis too, it's not like circumcision somehow prevents dirt and bacteria from collecting there.

Amazingly, it's not that hard to keep a penis clean, whether it's circumcised or not.

Whenever this topic pops up online, I'm constantly surprised by the amount of circumcised men who seem to be in a legitimate state of denial over what they have actually lost.

Yet it always surprises me how many men must endure the memorable pain of being circumcised when they are adults. Imagine if their parents had cut the skin off for them when they were infants and were unable to retain the memory of the pain such a minor procedure caused.
