I thought you hated it here?
When and whereabouts are you planning on being here?
I hated living there. Too many cloudy days. Way too many. There's much about Oregon that I like. I just can't take the dreary overcast days, months at a time.
I'm going to be in for an extended weekend the weekend of Sep. 24th. Taking dad to the Boise State at Oregon State football game in Albany on the 24th. Flying in (PDX) very late on the Wed. before and flying out the Monday after. My exact itenerary for the weekend is still in flux, but I was thinking Sunday the 25th would be a good day to get together and have dinner/snacks and beers/whatever. Breakfast at the Cadillac Grill wouldn't go amiss if anyone can make it down there on a Thurs. morning.

I think we should try. Do you mean Cadillac Cafe? On Broadway?
That's the one! Haven't been in there since I worked for Pike Energy over at 9th and Multnomah back in 2010.

Ok, everyone, I've got my itinerary set for my super-fun in-between-jobs road trip!
I will be in or near the following places on the following days:
August 30: Columbus, Ohio*
August 31: Louisville, Kentucky*
September 1: Nashville, Tennessee
September 2 through 4: Memphis, Tennessee
September 5: Natchez, Mississippi
September 6 through 7: New Orleans, Louisiana
September 8: Pensacola, Florida*
September 9 through 11: Jacksonville, Florida
September 12: Columbia, South Carolina
September 13: Greensboro, North Carolina*
September 14: Washington, Virginia
September 15: high above the atlantic ocean
September 16 through 19: Trosa, Sweden* (yes, really)
Dates/Locations with ***asterisks*** are dates/locations where I don't have somewhere to sleep yet (I am trying to minimize hotel usage). Of course, regardless of whether I've made sleeping arrangements, I'd be thrilled to meet anyone who's in the area!!! Let me know here or PM me if you want to meet up or hang out or chillax or of course provide me with bedding!
How will we know, when the morning comes, we are still human? - 2D
Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
